  3. Title: OpaqueMove Installation

  6. Installation

  8. Installation is performed using the standard Amiga installer utility, which
  9. must be present in the C: directory.
  10.  
  11. CLI Install
  12.  
  13. To install OpaqueMove from the CLI, CD into the Install directory, and
  14. execute the following command:
  15.  
  16.      installer Install-OpaqueMove APPNAME OpaqueMove
  17.  
  18. Workbench Install
  19.  
  20. To install OpaqueMove from the workbench, open the OpaqueMove drawer, and
  21. then open the Install drawer. Double click on the icon corresponding to your
  22. preferred language.

  24. Interacting with the Installer
  25.  
  26. The installer will first ask you where you wish to install OpaqueMove. A
  27. directory named OpaqueMove will be created there.
  28.  
  29. Next, if you want to view the OpaqueMove documentation in HTML format, you
  30. will need a web browser that is capable of supporting a least HTML 3.0 with
  31. tables. IBrowse works well, but there are others as well. Amiga Mosaic cannot
  32. view the tables correctly, but otherwise will display the documentation.

  34. The OpaqueMove needs to know how to invoke a command to start your browser
  35. and pass a local file to it. It will generate the correct path name to the
  36. HTML documentation files, but you will need to specify how to start your
  37. browser. It will ask for a command line to run, and any %s will be replaced
  38. by the URL of the documentation. For example, here is a line useful with
  39. IBrowse (assuming your IBrowse executable is in Apps:IBrowse/IBrowse):

  41.      Apps:IBrowse/IBrowse URL %s
  42.  
  43. This line may be any AmigaOS command line, including calls to the rx utility
  44. to pass ARexx messages to programs. The file created will be a script file
  45. named:
  46.  
  47.      Docs/Language/OpaqueDocs
  48.  
  49.      under the OpaqueMove install directory, and the associated icon will
  50.      call IconX on this script file. You can modify the contents of this
  51.      script file as you see fit.
